Simone Szalmuk-Singer is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in nonprofit management and philanthropy. Currently serving as CEO and Director of the ERDI Foundation since November 2019, Simone also holds the positions of Vice President and Co-Vice President at Jewish Care Victoria, the largest Jewish services provider in Victoria. As a Co-Founder of Jewish Women of Words, Simone advocates for women writers, while involvement with Global Jewry as a Board Director and Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies as a Senior Leadership Fellow reflects a commitment to global Jewish heritage and leadership development. Previous roles include Co-Chair of Australian Jewish Funders and President of JNF Victoria, where Simone implemented significant governance improvements. With a legal background specializing in employment law, Simone's academic credentials include degrees from Harvard Business School and the University of Melbourne.

Jewish Care Victoria is a highly-regarded not-for-profit organisation and a leader in the delivery of aged care, disability and community support services. In 1848, visionaries in our community established the foundations of Jewish Care with the establishment of the Melbourne Jewish Philanthropic Society to provide assistance to those in need.
