Debra Binder has extensive experience in fundraising and events management, currently serving as the Fundraising & Events Manager at Jewish Care since July 2014. Prior positions at Jewish Care include Fundraising Manager, Senior Fundraising Executive, and Fundraising Executive. Debra also worked as a Community & Events Manager- Junior Consultant at North London Hospice from March to August 2014 and served as the Community & Sponsored Events Coordinator at Langdon Charity from February 2013 to March 2014. Debra began a career in fundraising during an internship at Alzheimer's Society, where responsibilities involved events and fundraising tasks from November 2012 to February 2013. Debra holds a degree in Criminology and Social Policy from The University of Manchester, completed in 2010, and was educated at J.F.S from 1999 to 2006.

We are the largest provider of health and social care services for the Jewish community in the UK. Every week, we touch the lives of 10,000 people. We can only do this thanks to our amazing professional staff of 1,500 and the 3,000 dedicated volunteers who help make our work possible. We provide services to: Older people People with mental health needs Holocaust survivors People with dementia People who care for others who have a variety of needs – e.g. mental health, older people, people with disabilities People with MS, Parkinson’s, strokes and those who are visually impaired People who are bereaved and those recently separated We also provide youth leadership opportunities, recreational, educational, and cultural programmes, as well as half-term schemes.
