Shannon McGrorey

Shannon McGrorey has extensive work experience in the field of health and safety. They worked as the Head of Health & Safety at Jewish Care starting in April 2023. Before that, they were the Health and Safety Manager at Origin Housing from May 2022 to April 2023. Prior to that, Shannon worked as a Corporate Health & Safety Advisor at Grand Union Housing Group from January 2018 to April 2022. They also gained experience as a Health and Safety Assistant at Bedford Borough Council from December 2015 to January 2018 and as an Administrative Officer from June 2014 to December 2015.

Shannon McGrorey earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc Hons) degree in Psychology from the University of Bedfordshire, which they attended from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their A-Levels at Biddenham International School from 2010 to 2012. Shannon also studied for their GCSE's at Biddenham International School from 2008 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Shannon has obtained several certifications, including being a Graduate Member of IOSH, obtaining an NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Health & Safety Practice from City & Guilds, and completing the Train the Trainer program from IOSH. Shannon also holds certifications such as Technical Member of IOSH, NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, and IOSH Managing Safely.
