Sara Shalva

Sara Shalva serves as the Chief Arts Officer at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Baltimore since September 2019, previously held the position of Assistant Director at Pearlstone Retreat Center & Event Campus, where key achievements included developing new retreat programs and fostering strategic partnerships. Prior to that, Sara was Chief Program Officer at the Jewish Community Center in Washington D.C., contributing to innovative programming and partnerships while also managing educational initiatives in various roles, including Director of Enrollment Management at Hebrew College. An education background includes an MPA/MA from New York University in Non-Profit Management and Judaic Studies, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Mary Washington. Experience also encompasses teaching yoga and facilitating high-level Jewish educational programs through multiple organizations.
