Cate Gibbons

Cate Gibbons currently serves as an Application Engineer at Process Combustion Corporation since September 2023. In addition to this role, Gibbons has been a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering since September 2019. Gibbons also works as a bartender at Gough's Taproom and has served in various roles within the hospitality industry, including assistant swim coach at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh and bartender at Hough's Taproom & Brewpub. Prior experience includes working as a diving coach at Westwood Swim and Tennis Association and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Manhattan College. Cate Gibbons holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh.
