Courtney Jacobson

General Manager of Camps & School at JCC Denver

Courtney Jacobson has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Courtney started their career in 2010 as the Director of Afterschool & Summer Camp Programs at the JCC of the East Bay. In this role, they were responsible for hiring and supervising staff, managing budgets, coordinating enrichment classes, and implementing safety protocols.

In 2013, Courtney joined ZIM Consulting, inc. as the Director of Development & Grants. Courtney wrote and managed grants for various nonprofit organizations, including private foundations and government agencies. Courtney also supported the development efforts of multiple organizations simultaneously.

In 2015, Courtney became the Accounting & Finance Manager at the Integrated Nutrition Education Program (INEP) at CU Denver, Anschutz Medical Campus. Courtney'sresponsibilities included budget management, payroll, and HR responsibilities. Courtney also fundraised and identified diverse funding sources for the program.

From 2016 to 2021, Courtney worked at JCC Denver as the Director of Camp Shai & Youth Services. Courtney oversaw the camp programs and youth services, managing staff, budgets, and marketing efforts.

Currently, Courtney is the General Manager of Camps & School at the Staenberg-Loup Jewish Community Center, a position they have held since 2021.

Courtney Jacobson completed their Masters in Jewish Nonprofit Management from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion-Los Angeles from 2008 to 2010. Courtney also earned a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) with a specialization in Community Organizing Planning and Administration from the University of Southern California during the same period.
