Miriam Brizendine has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles. Miriam began their career in 2005 as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at the Staenberg-Loup Jewish Community Center, where they ensured safety for patrons and taught swimming lessons to students of various age groups. Miriam then progressed to become a Swim Lesson Coordinator, responsible for managing registrations, scheduling, and customer service for the Swim Safe Academy. Miriam continued to excel and became the Aquatics Coordinator, overseeing all Aquatics staff and administering the Swim Safe Academy, including group and private lessons. Miriam then took on the role of Aquatics and Sports & Fitness Facilities Director, managing the operations of aquatics and sports facilities. In 2015, they transitioned to a new role as a Database Coordinator, where they coordinated and administrated databases for the organization. Miriam further expanded their skills by becoming a Project Manager in the Office of the CEO, responsible for overseeing projects and initiatives. In 2018, they became a Business Systems Analyst and played a crucial role in enhancing business systems at the center. Currently, Miriam holds the position of Director of Information Technology and Business Systems, where they lead the organization's IT strategies and manages business systems. Alongside their roles at the community center, Miriam also served as an Associate Real Estate Broker for CENTURY 21 SPX Realty Professionals and Associates from 2015 to 2017, working alongside their father in a real estate team called Team Briz. Miriam specialized in assisting clients with buying, selling, and investing in properties in Metro Denver South and Southwest Denver.

Miriam Brizendine earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Management, General from Metropolitan State University of Denver, which they attended from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they pursued General Studies at the Community College of Aurora in 2007 and at Stony Brook University in 2006, without completing a degree. Miriam Brizendine also holds certifications in Raiser's Edge Fundamentals and Raiser's Edge Professional, obtained from Blackbaud in 2016 and 2020.
