Sara Sless

Sara Sless has over three decades of experience in the non-profit sector, with a focus on Jewish education and community engagement. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of the Center for Israel Engagement at JCC Association since 1992, Sara has played a pivotal role in various initiatives. Notably, from 2009 to 2012, Sara was the Director of Sunrise Israel, where leadership efforts led to the establishment of the organization as a registered Amuta and the creation of essential operational structures. Previous roles include Coordinator of the Senior Educators Program at the Melton Centre for Jewish Education and Regional Coordinator for Sherut La'am at the Jewish Agency for Israel. Sara holds several educational qualifications, including a BA Hons in Social Administration from the University of Nottingham and certificates in group facilitation and crisis management. Additionally, Sara is an active member of multiple boards and leadership programs, demonstrating a commitment to community development and non-profit management.
