Shira Deener

Shira Deener is the Head of School at JCDS, Boston's Jewish Community Day School. Previously, Shira was the Director of the Jewish Education Program at Facing History and Ourselves. Shira holds a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Barnard College. Additionally, Shira studied at the pardes institute in Jerusalem, Israel, and Flinders University.
