Margaret M. di Gennaro

Margaret M. Di Gennaro has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Margaret M. is currently working at Jewish Community Services of South Florida as the Project Director for Federal Grants & Education Programs. Prior to this, they worked at Miami Dade College, where they held several positions including Director of Veterans Upward Bound, Program Manager for M.D.C. H.E.L.P.S. (Helping Everyone Learn to Prevent Suicide), and Project Coordinator for ACCEL in Tech. Their role in ACCEL in Tech involved project coordination, operations, supervision, curriculum development, staff development and training, data collection, and budget management. Margaret also served as a Volunteer in the Peace Corps, focusing on primary literacy promotion and education in the Dominican Republic. Margaret M. underwent training in literacy promotion, conducted community diagnostics, tutored volunteers in Spanish, organized literacy camps for children, and represented the group at various events. Margaret has also worked at Miami Dade College as a Grant Support Coordinator for the Community College Initiative Program and STEM-TRAC. Additionally, they have held positions at Hamilton College as an Area Director in the Office of Residential Life and at Florida International University as a Graduate Assistant for the Women's Center and the Center for Leadership and Service.

Margaret M. Di Gennaro obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Relations & Spanish Language with a focus on Latin America from Syracuse University - Maxwell School in 2009. Margaret M. then pursued a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University, which they completed in 2011.
