Tamar Zaken

Tamar Zaken is a highly experienced professional in community outreach and education within the Jewish community. Currently serving as the Director of Community Outreach at Jewish Family and Children's Services of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin, and Sonoma Counties since September 2021, Tamar has previously held significant roles including Outreach Director at Temple Isaiah and Chief Program Officer at HaMaqom | The Place, where program development and increased participation were key achievements. With an educational background from Columbia University, The Jewish Theological Seminary, and Yeshiva University, Tamar has a solid foundation in political science and Jewish history, as well as a master's degree in social work.
