Yelena Mushkatina

Yelena Mushkatina, MLS, MSW, serves as the Socialization and Cultural Programs Coordinator for Older Adults and People with Disabilities Services at JFS Seattle, a non-profit organization, since August 2016. In this role, Yelena conducts comprehensive assessments, develops care plans, and advocates for clients while fostering socialization programs to reduce isolation among older adults. Additionally, Yelena volunteers as a Wish Granting Volunteer with the Make a Wish Foundation since February 2012, facilitating wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions. Previous experience includes various roles in clinical social work, mental health counseling, patient care, and employment specialist positions, complemented by a robust educational background in social work and library science.
