Jennifer Handel

Director Of Israel Engagement at Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta

Jennifer Handel serves as the Director of Israel Engagement at the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta since January 2022. Previously, Jennifer held positions at Stony Brook Hillel as both Assistant Director and Director of Jewish Student Life from July 2017 to December 2021. Prior experience includes working as a Program Coordinator at Duke University from July 2013 to July 2017, an Assistant Manager at Hanna Andersson in 2012, and an Israel Teaching Fellow with Masa Israel Journey from August 2011 to June 2012. Jennifer's early career involved teaching and coaching roles at the North Babylon School District and Wyandanch Union Free School District between 2007 and 2011. Jennifer holds a Master of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching History from the State University of New York Cortland.
