Tim Hemphill, CPA, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, a role commenced in January 2023. Previously, Tim held the position of Vice President and CFO at LSU Health Foundation New Orleans, overseeing financial and operational functions for a health foundation supporting multiple schools and centers. Tim's extensive experience includes serving as CFO and Chief Administrative Officer for the New Orleans Business Alliance, where oversight of a $4M budget and a 15-person staff was provided. Earlier roles include leadership at Italian Wine Merchants, where management of a $20M global business occurred, and experience at Spielman, Koenigsberg & Parker, LLP, focused on audits and financial statements. Tim began their career with Spilsbury, Hamilton, Legendre & Paciera CPAs as a Staff Auditor and Tax Preparer. In addition to professional achievements, Tim is an Owning Partner and performer with The Funky Beans, LLC, a funk and soul band. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and minors in Music Theory and Composition and Philosophy from Louisiana State University.
