Jeffrey Lasday

Jeffrey Lasday currently serves as the Senior Chief of External Affairs at the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, a position held since December 2021. With extensive experience in nonprofit organizations since August 1997 as an Educational Consultant, Jeffrey specializes in strategic planning, mentoring, and curriculum development. Previous roles include Chief Operating Officer at the Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit, where Jeffrey managed daily operations for a large facility serving over 16,200 households, and Acting Chief Operating Officer at Farber Hebrew Day School during a critical transition period. Other notable positions include Senior Director of Community Development and Director of the Alliance for Jewish Education at the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, as well as Executive Director of the Coalition for the Advancement of Jewish Education. Jeffrey's foundational work includes establishing the Columbus Commission on Jewish Education and serving as Executive Director there. Educational accomplishments include an Ed.M. from Harvard Graduate School of Education and coursework toward a Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
