Dan Serrano

Dan Serrano currently serves as the Security Coordinator for the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit since March 2019. Prior to this role, Dan accumulated extensive law enforcement experience over two decades with the City of Westland, where positions included Lieutenant and Sergeant at the Westland Police Department, managing various responsibilities such as emergency preparedness and traffic-related grants. Earlier career positions included police roles in the City of Detroit and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, along with military service as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force. Dan holds a high school diploma and has continued education through the Community College of the Air Force and Northwestern University.
