Dana Bornstein is an experienced leader in the nonprofit sector, currently serving as Director of Leadership & Learning at The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington since August 2021, after holding the role of Assistant Director in the same department. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP) from September 2016 to August 2021, where Dana advanced from Development Associate to Senior Development Officer, focusing on major gift strategies aimed at engaging the next generation of donors. Dana also worked as an Educational Leadership Consultant for Alpha Epsilon Phi, supporting student leadership across multiple university campuses, and as a Community Organizer for the Watch for Me Campaign, leading a transportation safety initiative. Dana holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and spent a semester at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem studying Judaic Studies and Hebrew.
