Kelly Taxter is a Deputy Director at Artists Space since February 2023. Prior to this, Kelly worked as a Curator at The Jewish Museum, focusing on exhibitions such as "After the Wild: Contemporary Art from the Barnett and Annalee Newman Collection" and "Jonas Mekas: The Camera Was Always Running". Kelly has also been a Curator at Nahmad Contemporary and Director at Parrish Art Museum. Kelly holds a Master of Arts in Curatorial Studies from Bard College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts.

Founded in 1904, the Museum was the first institution of its kind in the United States and one of the oldest Jewish museums in the world.
