Kwame La Bassiere has extensive work experience in information technology. Kwame currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at The Jewish Museum. Prior to this, they were the Director of Information Technology at The Windward School from 2015 to 2023. Before that, they held the same position at Mobile Health Management Services, Inc. from 2010 to 2015. Kwame also worked as the Director of Information Systems at Learning Leaders from 2001 to 2011, and as an Education Coordinator at Junior Achievement of New York in 2001.
Kwame La Bassiere earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Criminology and Business from Barry University, where they studied from 1996 to 1999. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Security (MCSE), and PMP - Project Management Professional.
