Alan Fisher

Alan Fisher (Atherton, CA) is an accelerator physicist at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory at Stanford University, where he specializes in instrumentation for particle accelerators. He has collaborated with the CERN lab in Geneva, Switzerland, and the Helmholtz lab in Dresden, Germany. He is a Past President of Congregation Beth Jacob in Redwood City, CA and a member of AIPAC’s National Council. Alan and Barbara are Past Co-Presidents of JNF’s Northern California region and members of JNF’s World Chairman’s Council. They serve on the Arava Task Force. Alan found his Israel connection as a teen when he spent a summer traveling in Israel and working on a kibbutz.
