Carol Middlebrough, MPA, has extensive experience in workforce development and advocacy for marginalized populations. Currently serving as Program Director at JSSA since January 2014, Carol leads a team of Employment Professionals, driving business expansion and fostering career growth. Previously, Carol held roles as Operations Coordinator and Employment Specialist within the same organization, where responsibilities included project development and supporting individuals with disabilities in achieving meaningful employment. Before JSSA, Carol worked as an Employment Advocate at Our Place, DC, successfully assisting over 150 returning citizens in overcoming barriers to secure employment. Carol holds a Master of Public Administration from American University, focusing on public anthropology, race, class, and social justice, and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Kentucky.
