Matt Weston

Matt Weston, CPA has a strong background in finance and accounting. Matt is currently working as the Senior Director of Finance at JF Petroleum Group, a role they have held since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis from August 2020 to May 2022, and as the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager from August 2019 to August 2020 at the same company.

Before joining JF Petroleum Group, Matt worked at LORD Corporation, where they held various roles. Matt served as the Finance Manager, U.S. & Canada from November 2018 to August 2019, the Senior Financial Analyst from August 2017 to November 2018, and the Senior Auditor from January 2015 to August 2017.

Prior to their time at LORD Corporation, Matt worked as a Senior GAAP Auditor at T. Wayne Owens & Associates, PC from November 2013 to December 2014.

Matt started their career at Grant Thornton LLP as an Audit Senior Associate from October 2011 to November 2013. During their time at Grant Thornton, they gained experience working with public and private companies in various industries, including software and technology, financial, manufacturing, and restaurant. Matt also served as an advisor to a Fortune 10 financial institution.

Matt Weston, CPA has a strong educational background in accounting. Matt earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Appalachian State University, where they attended from 2006 to 2010. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at the University of Notre Dame and completed their Master of Science degree in Accountancy from 2010 to 2011.
