Rob Uppena

Rob Uppena has extensive work experience in various managerial roles. Rob most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Sales at JF Petroleum Group since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Regional Vice President of Sales at the same company from May 2017 to December 2021.

Before joining JF Petroleum Group, Rob worked at CNH Industrial where they held multiple positions. Rob was the Marketing Manager from October 2015 to May 2017 and the Purchasing Manager from August 2013 to September 2015. Rob also served as the General Manager for the North American receiving and packaging distribution center from July 2011 to July 2013, where they managed a large team and had significant financial responsibilities.

Earlier in their career, Rob worked at Shepherd Electric Supply as a District Manager from August 2008 to June 2011. Rob also gained valuable experience at GE, where they held various roles including District Manager and National Account Manager, from 2000 to 2007. Rob was also certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt during their time at GE.

Prior to their corporate career, Rob served in the US Army as a Captain and Logistics Officer. Rob also acted as a Company Commander and Instructor during their time in the Army from 1992 to 1999.

Rob Uppena graduated from the University of Miami in 1992 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, with a field of study in Business Administration. In 2013, they attended the Lubar College of Business and completed the Strategic Leadership Series in Executive Education. In 2010, they attended Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, where they studied the University of Industrial Distribution, although it is not specified if they obtained a degree from this institution.

In addition to their formal education, Rob Uppena has obtained several certifications. Rob achieved a Six Sigma Quality (Black Belt) certification from GE in 2000. Rob also holds certifications as a Master Parachutist, Pathfinder, and Senior Parachute Rigger, earned through their service in the US Army.
