Julian Araujo

Julian Araujo has a strong background in the field of network engineering and cybersecurity. Julian most recently worked as a Defensive Cybersecurity Operator III at JFL CONSULTING, LLC starting in April 2023. Prior to that, Julian served as a Network Deployment Engineer at Zachary Piper Solutions from December 2021 to April 2023. In this role, they led a team and was responsible for network deployments and document governance. Before that, they worked as a Communications Network Engineer at Leidos from November 2020 to December 2021, where they provided technical leadership in integrating and testing computer networks. Julian's experience also includes roles as a Network Engineer at Telesis from October 2019 to November 2020 and as an Operations Technician II at CenturyLink from December 2018 to October 2019. Julian started their career as a Network Administrator at VAE, Inc. from January 2017 to December 2018, where they played a key role in surveying, engineering, and installing core switches for the Army's NETMOD-C program. Overall, Julian has demonstrated expertise in network administration, deployment, and cybersecurity throughout their career.

Julian Araujo obtained an Associate's degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator from ITT Technical Institute. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), Security +, Azure Fundamentals, Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate, and Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA).
