JFS provides quality social services to address needs in the Jewish and broader communities within Greater St. Louis. JFS empowers people in need to meet the challenges of daily living. JFS meets this need by offering a multitude of programs in five focus areas: resolving problems, protecting children at risk, maintaining elderly in their homes, supporting those in need of help with basic needs, and enhancing Jewish connections. The Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry (HKJFP) is a program of JFS.
