Mike Hawn

Mike Hawn has extensive work experience in the defense industry. Mike currently serves as the Vice President of Government Services at Echelon Supply and Service, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to that, from April 2019 to January 2022, they worked as the Vice President of Business Development for the Middle East/North Africa & SOCOM at Navistar Defense.

Before their time at Navistar Defense, Mike Hawn had a long career in the US Army, serving as a Lieutenant Colonel (retired) from May 1988 to August 2008. In 2008, they joined Navistar Defense as the Business Development Manager for the Mideast, South Asia & N. Africa region. In this role, they played a key part in delivering nearly 9,000 MaxxPro Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles to the US Military and 17 Allies. Their responsibilities included developing and implementing capture strategies and plans to win new business.

Mike Hawn received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in General Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1984 to 1988. Mike later pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in East European Studies from Indiana University Bloomington, where they studied from 1998 to 1999.
