Dr. Pooja Sharma

Dr. Pooja Sharma is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in various medical and health-related roles. Currently serving as a Program Officer at Jhpiego since June 2016, Dr. Sharma previously worked as a Medical Consultant for the World Health Organization from September 2013 to May 2016 and as a Surveillance Medical Officer at the World Health Organisation India from May 2012 to August 2013. Dr. Sharma began the career as a Doctor at World Vision in 2009 and also held the position of Demonstrator at Index Medical College and Research Center for a brief period in 2009. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Health from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Mahatama Gandhi Medical College.
