Kathleen Hill

Kathleen Hill has 20 years of work experience in the field of maternal and child health. Kathleen has served as the Maternal Health Team Lead for the Maternal Child Survival Program at Jhpiego since 2015. Prior to this, they worked as a Family Physician at the Upper Cardozo Health Center, providing primary and urgent care services. Kathleen also held positions at University Research Co., LLC (URC) & Center for Human Services (CHS) as the Deputy Director and Maternal Child Health and Family Planning Technical Lead for the ASSIST Program and as a Senior QI Advisor. Kathleen has also worked at MedStar Washington Hospital Center as a Physician and at Baltimore Medical System as a Primary Care Family Physician. Throughout their career, Kathleen has focused on improving health care quality and strengthening health systems.

Kathleen Hill began their education journey by obtaining a Bachelor's Degree from Barnard College between the years 1981 and 1985. Their major was Psychology, with a minor in Biology. Subsequently, they attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine from 1990 to 1994, earning their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. After that, they pursued a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Maryland Department of Family Medicine from 1994 to 1997. Kathleen Hill also holds a certification from the American Board of Family Medicine, although the specific date of achievement is unknown.
