Laura Fitzgerald

Laura Fitzgerald is a highly experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Principal Technical Advisor at Jhpiego, where responsibilities include leading the Momentum and Country Global Leadership portfolio in Maternal Mental Health and co-designing the International Maternal and Newborn Health Conference Fellowship Program. Previous roles at Jhpiego include Senior Program Advisor, where Laura led a country management team in Myanmar, and Maternal Health Advisor, providing technical assistance to the Eswatini Ministry of Health. Laura has also held positions with WomenLift Health as a Global Fellow and was instrumental in establishing Jhpiego's operations in Eswatini as the Country Representative. Holding a Master’s Degree in Nurse Midwifery from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Bowdoin College, Laura combines clinical expertise with strategic leadership in public health initiatives focused on maternal and child health.
