Taurayi Gwande

Taurayi Gwande is a highly experienced public health professional currently serving as the Senior Technical Advisor for HIV Biomedical Prevention and Quality Improvement at Jhpiego since December 2020. In this role, Taurayi supports the MOSAIC Project, facilitating the introduction of new PrEP products across 10 Sub-Saharan African countries and providing technical assistance for research implementation and quality improvement activities related to the CATALYST study. Previous positions include Project Director focusing on AGYW HIV prevention and COVID response, Technical Director at the International Training and Education Center for Health, and Regional HIV Clinical Mentor in various organizations. Taurayi's educational background includes an MBA in Public Health Administration and an MPH in Public Health, complemented by medical training with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery.
