Tigistu Adamu Ashengo

Tigistu Adamu Ashengo has extensive experience in the medical field, currently serving as Chief Medical Officer at Jhpiego since May 2009, where they have also held roles as Associate Medical Director & Senior Innovations Advisor and Team Leader/Senior Technical Advisor. In addition, Tigistu has been a Fellow in General Surgery & Public Health at COSECSA/St. Paul Medical College since February 2018. Previous academic contributions include a position as Assistant Professor of Public Health at St. Paul Millennium Medical School from July 2013 to July 2016, and earlier work as Technical Director at Jhpiego from July 2005 to May 2009.
