Kees Beenakker

Kees Beenakker is a co-founder and member of the advisory board at JIACO Instruments, a position held since 2014. They have extensive experience in the field of electrical engineering, serving as a professor at TU Delft from 1990 to 2014 and as an honorary professor at the Institute of Semiconductors at the Chinese Academy of Science from 2011 to 2015. Kees was also the scientific director at the Delft Institute of Microsystems and Nanoelectronics (DIMES) from 2007 to 2012, following a notable career at Philips Semiconductors and Philips Research between 1974 and 1987. They hold a Ph.D. in chemistry and physics from Leiden University, obtained in 1974.
