Itamar M. has extensive experience in technology and entrepreneurship, currently serving as a Crew Member at Jibe Ventures since January 2021, while also being an Investor and Advisor at Placer.ai since February 2016. Previous roles include Architect at Via from June 2023 to August 2024, Co-Founder at Acumen.io (acquired by Via) from July 2019 to June 2023, and R&D Manager at Rakuten Viber from August 2015 to January 2019. Itamar founded Nextpeer, which was acquired by Viber/Rakuten, and Social Expeditions, acquired by KamaGames. Additional experience includes roles at NetMatch and Efficient Finance as a Senior Software Engineer, and a team lead and software engineer in the Israel Defense Forces' Military Intelligence. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Management of Technology, Entrepreneurship & Innovation from Tel Aviv University and a B.A. in Computer Science and Management from The Open University of Israel.
