Charlene Betourne

Charlene Slapak Lambros, RN, MS, is an experienced nursing informatics professional with extensive expertise in clinical documentation and healthcare technology. Currently serving as the KP HealthConnect Inpatient Application Coordinator at Kaiser Permanente Information Technology since April 2003, Charlene leads the Care Plan and Patient Bedside Education initiatives. Prior roles include Nursing Systems Analyst at John Muir Medical Center, where the A4 Healthmatics ED application was implemented in a major trauma center, and Senior Business Consultant for Kaiser Permanente IT, focusing on clinical concept modeling. Charlene began career as a staff nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Education includes a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University.
