Garrett Mize

Garrett Mize is an experienced attorney currently working at Jim Adler & Associates since May 2017, while also serving as a City Council Member for the City of Wylie, Texas since November 2020. Mize previously practiced law at Arnold & Itkin, LLP from October 2015 to April 2017, and held various law clerk positions at several firms including Sommerman McCaffity, Quesada & Geisler, LLP, HooverSlovacek LLP, and others. An alumnus of South Texas College of Law Houston, Mize earned a Juris Doctor degree from 2013 to 2016. Mize also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from The University of Texas at Austin, where studies occurred from 2007 to 2010, and began studies in Government at The University of Texas at San Antonio from 2006 to 2007. Prior involvement includes a position as a Youth Advocacy Coordinator at Texas Freedom Network from January 2010 to July 2013 and as a Judicial Intern for Justice Jim Sharp at the Court of Appeals for the First District of Texas.
