Kira Macdonald, MBA, has a diverse and extensive work experience. Kira is currently working at Jimdo as a Communications and DEI Manager, where they are responsible for corporate communication strategy and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization. Prior to this, Kira worked as an Employee Communications Manager and DEI Council Leader at Jimdo.

Before joining Jimdo, Kira worked as a Consultant, assisting organizations with employee engagement and internal communications strategies. Kira also developed an online course on internal communications with a high Net Promoter Score.

Kira has previous experience at IBM, where they held various roles. As the Brand and Internal Communications Manager for Middle East and Africa, they implemented strategies to raise brand awareness and engagement. Kira also managed executive communications for the region. Additionally, Kira served as the Internal Communications and Sales Enablement Leader for both the Middle East and Africa and Russia & CIS regions, where they established regional communication functions and facilitated sales enablement.

Prior to their roles at IBM, Kira worked as a Tour Director at Value World Tours, where they organized and facilitated memorable experiences for international tourists.

Kira Macdonald, MBA (She/Her/Hers) pursued their education in a chronological manner. Kira started their academic journey in 2000 at Saint Petersburg State University. Kira completed their Specialist degree in Sociology and Social Work after six years of study in 2006. In 2002, they participated in the Freedom Support Act Undergraduate Fellowship Program at Grinnell College, where they focused on Sociology. Later, in 2011, Kira attended the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School to earn their Master of Business Administration (MBA), specializing in International Business, which they successfully completed in 2014.
