Isabelle Mohr

Isabelle Mohr has a diverse work experience. In 2019, they began as a Junior Lecturer at Rhodes University. In 2020, they moved to LEON Mobility as a System Engineer. From 2021 to the present, they have been employed at Mentorium GmbH as a Python Developer (Working Student), NLP and Machine Learning. In this role, they have developed an ML solution to a text analysis problem, sourced and processed data, and managed computing instances on Google Cloud Platform for training and evaluating models. In 2022, they will begin as an NLP Engineer at Jina AI.

Isabelle Mohr attended Kingswood College from 2010 to 2012. Isabelle then went on to Rhodes University, where they completed a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Linguistics and Psychology in 2018, followed by a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Applied Linguistics in 2019. Finally, they completed a Master of Science in Computational Linguistics at the University of Stuttgart in 2021.
