Saba Sturua

Saba Sturua has worked in the field of Machine Learning since 2019. In that year, they began as a Teaching Assistant at Free University of Tbilisi. In 2020, they moved to Intrro as an NLP Engineer. In 2021, they joined Rasa as a Junior Machine Learning Engineer and Research Intern, where they explored fine-tuning limitations in Rasa OSS, created experiments to simulate real-life fine-tuning cases, and analyzed the results. Saba also changed the machine learning architecture to optimize memory usage and improved developer experience. In 2022, they began working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Jina AI.

Saba Sturua obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Free University of Tbilisi between 2017 and 2021. In 2019, they received a Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera, and in 2021 they obtained a Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate certification from Microsoft.
