Nicholas Kornek

Senior Designer and Developer at Jintronix

Nicholas Kornek has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nicholas is currently working as an Adjunct Professor at Champlain College since 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Designer and Developer at Jintronix from 2017 onwards.

From 2014 to 2017, Nicholas worked at Minority Media Inc. as a Senior Designer/Gameplay Programmer. In this role, they demonstrated expertise in rapid development and prototyping, leading teams of various sizes, and overseeing games' development from conception to release. During this time, they also explored the possibilities of Virtual and Augmented Reality in gaming and education.

Nicholas has also worked briefly as a Game Designer/Programmer at Critical Hit Montreal in 2014 and as a Research Assistant at Concordia University from 2013 to 2014.

Before transitioning into the gaming industry, Nicholas worked at Rogers Communications as a Collections Agent and Back-up Manager from 2010 to 2014.

From 2011 to 2013, Nicholas Kornek attended Concordia University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Literature.
