Omkar Wadkar

Omkar Wadkar is a Chartered Accountant with a strong background in finance and taxation. Currently serving as a Team Member in the FC&A - Non Fuel department at Jio-bp since September 2022, Omkar is responsible for managing business finance for convenience stores, Wild Bean Café, lubricants, and gaseous fuels, as well as reviewing and validating the Annual Operating Plan and preparing Management Information Systems. Prior experience includes working as an Associate in Indirect Taxation at PwC, where Omkar conducted GST reviews for manufacturing companies and identified process gaps, and serving as an Article Assistant at R M R Shah & Co., gaining practical experience in statutory audits and exposure to the Companies Act 2013. Omkar holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from MES Garware College of Commerce and is a graduate of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
