Mark Gershman

Mark Gershman has had a long and successful career in the accounting and finance industry. Mark began their career in 2006 as a Senior Solutions Sales Consultant at Oracle. In 2012, they joined Workday as a Senior Financials and Cross Applications Instructor, where they introduced instrumental people to the design of a sound, cloud-based Financial Data Model. In 2015, they became a Visiting Professor of Accounting Technologies at Oakton College, where they delivered educating and entertaining courses to help future business leaders extend their reach and growth. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Jirav as the Director of Learning and Education. At Jirav, they are responsible for making complex forecasting and modeling affordable for small and medium-sized businesses.

Mark Gershman has obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University Bloomington and an MBA in Information Systems from DePaul University. Mark also holds certifications from the State of Illinois as a Certified Public Accountant, Intuit for QuickBooks Certification, Sage Intacct Accounting Specialist, Sage Intacct Financial Implementation Certification, and Workday Financials Certification.
