Rani Singh, CMI

Rani Singh, CMI has over a decade of work experience. Rani began their career in 2009 as a Tax Preparer for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. That same year, they also worked as a Revenue Auditor for the Washington State Department of Revenue. From 2012 to 2016, Rani held various roles at PwC, including State and Local Tax Manager, State and Local Tax Senior Associate, and State and Local Tax Experienced Associate. Rani then moved to Starbucks in 2016, where they worked as an Associate Manager - State and Local Taxes and Senior Indirect Tax Analyst - State and Local Taxes. In 2018, Rani joined Amazon as an Indirect State and Local Tax. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Manager, Solutions Consulting for Jirav. Prior to this, they were a Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant at Kainos.

Rani Singh, CMI has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting from Seattle University (2006-2009) and an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Green River College (2004-2006). In addition, they have obtained two certifications: Product and Implementation Certification from Adaptive Insights, a Workday company in August 2019, and CMI - Sales Tax from the Institute for Professionals in Taxation in September 2014.
