Jacky Yong

Jacky Yong has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Jacky currently serves as the Head of Engineering at Jirnexu, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Technical Lead at Jirnexu from September 2018 to November 2021.

Before joining Jirnexu, Jacky was the Head of Technology at Dataswarm Technologies from September 2017 to September 2018. Jacky also held the position of Head of Technology at Crowdsourcing Asia Sdn. Bhd. from January 2016 to September 2017. During their time at these companies, they led the development of platforms and systems, including a digital workers training platform and a crowdsourcing marketplace platform.

From 2013 to 2015, Jacky worked as the CTO at Nexstream, where they managed a software technologies team and delivered solutions in mobile, web, and cloud technologies. Notably, they delivered a mobile app store platform for a Malaysian government agency.

Prior to Nexstream, Jacky served as the CTO at Infindo Technology from 2009 to 2015. In this role, they led the development of a sports feeds content delivery platform and managed software engineers in Malaysia and China. Jacky also created a mobile client application for delivering sports feeds content.

Earlier in their career, Jacky worked as a Director at JOConnexion Sdn Bhd in 2008, a Software Architect at Technodex from 2001 to 2007, a Web Developer at Web Guru Asia in 2000, a Software Developer at SHIN YANG from 1998 to 1999, and a Junior Software Developer at Infotech Software from 1996 to 1997.

Throughout their career, Jacky has demonstrated expertise in various areas, including enterprise resource planning, software architecture, and system integration. Jacky has successfully delivered numerous projects and developed innovative solutions for Malaysian enterprises, government agencies, and sports content delivery.

Jacky Yong has a diverse education history. In 1995 to 1997, they attended Systematic College (Segi College) and obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer Science/IT. In 2016, they attended Stanford University and studied Machine Learning, specifically in the field of Data Science. In addition to their formal education, Jacky Yong has obtained several certifications.
