Lucas Ooi

Lucas Ooi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Lucas began their career as a Credit Analytics specialist at UBS Investment Bank in 2007. Lucas then worked as an Analyst at RBS Global Banking & Markets from 2008 to 2009. Following this, Lucas joined Societe Generale, where they focused on Pension Funds and Insurance Solutions from 2009 to 2010.

In 2010, Lucas co-founded Ambergate Capital Ventures Sdn Bhd and played a significant role in its development until 2012, when they became the Co-Founder of Jirnexu. At Jirnexu, Lucas actively contributed to the growth of the company as a Co-Founder. In 2012, they co-founded SaveMoney.my, a consumer finance website, and successfully expanded the team to 25 members before the merger with RinggitPlus.com.

Lucas joined RinggitPlus in 2016 as the Director of Insurance, where they were responsible for overseeing insurance-related operations. Lucas served in this role until December 2020. Throughout their career, Lucas has demonstrated their expertise and leadership skills in the finance and technology sectors.

Lucas Ooi obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Bath, where they studied from 2004 to 2008.
