Charlie Ball

Charlie Ball has served as a Senior Consultant in Labour Market Intelligence at Jisc since November 2003, focusing on the post-18 educated labour market and providing authoritative intelligence for university careers services and various stakeholders. Prior roles include Head of Labour Market Intelligence and Head of Higher Education Intelligence for Prospects. In addition, Charlie is a Fellow at the National Institute of Careers Education and Counselling (NICEC) since September 2017, currently chairing the NICEC appointments panel. Previously, Charlie worked at IMS Health as a Data Services Manager from April 1998 to November 2003, overseeing the production and management of healthcare information databases. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Warwick and an MSc in Instrumentation and Analytical Science from The University of Manchester.
