Dominic Broadhurst

Dominic Broadhurst is a seasoned professional in the field of library and information science, currently serving as Co-founder and Advisory Board Member for the UKI OER Community of Practice at Open Educational Network since April 2025, and as Head of Content & Discovery at The University of Salford since September 2019. Broadhurst has held various leadership roles, including Chair of the UKSG Conference Subcommittee and Chair of the Research & Innovation Group at UKSG. Additionally, Broadhurst is an active member of advisory boards for Jisc and Lived Places Publishing, and previously contributed to initiatives such as cOAlition S - ALPSP. With extensive experience at institutions like the University of Manchester Library and the Alliance Manchester Business School, Broadhurst has demonstrated a commitment to enhancing academic engagement, resource provision, and digital innovation within higher education.
