Lucy van Essen-Fishman

Lucy Van Essen-Fishman currently serves as Policy and Research Manager at Jisc, a position held since October 2022, after previously working as Lead Policy & Research Analyst at both Jisc and HESA: Higher Education Statistics Agency from October 2019 to October 2022. Lucy's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Philosophy in Classics and Classical Languages from the University of Oxford, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Ancient/Classical Greek Language and Literature from Swarthmore College. Prior to roles in policy and research, Lucy held various academic positions in Classics at institutions including University College and The Queen's College, Oxford, from 2014 to 2019.
