Vikas Dhawan

Vikas Dhawan is the Director of Data Insights and Solutions at the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), part of Jisc, where they deliver data solutions in the UK higher education sector. With nearly 20 years of experience in data analysis, strategy, and team leadership, Vikas has a strong background in data privacy regulations and is proficient in tools such as SAS, SPSS, and Power BI. Previously, they held senior roles at Ofqual, where they developed data strategy and analytics teams, and they have also contributed as a consultant and researcher in various organizations. Vikas holds a Master's in Computer Applications, an MSc in Psychometrics, and has engaged in further studies in artificial intelligence. They are passionate about data-enabled growth and have recently published a book reflecting on their experiences growing up in India.
