Thamakorn Boongchan

Thamakorn Boongchan has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Starting in 2005, they worked as a System Engineering supporting hardware, software, and network. Thamakorn then moved on to be a Programmer, responsible for developing and customizing Windows and Web applications. In 2010, they became an IT Leader, providing Tier II support and troubleshooting hardware, printer, network connectivity, Citrix, and application issues. Thamakorn also worked as a Technical Support and Quality Assurance specialist, providing 1st level technical support for ATM and Card Management System. Thamakorn later took on roles as a Senior ICT Engineer, Presales Engineer, and Business Development Manager - Security and Compliance, where they focused on project management, security assessment, and solution proposals. Most recently, they have held positions such as Information Technology Governance Manager and Director of Information Technology, where they were responsible for developing IT policies, coordinating with various departments, and implementing new systems. Thamakorn's work in these different roles has allowed him to gain a wide range of expertise in IT operations, security, compliance, and project management.

Thamakorn Boongchan has a Master's degree in Computer Engineering Technology/Technician from Dhurakij Pundit University. Prior to that, Thamakorn obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Sripatum University. In addition to these degrees, Thamakorn has obtained several certifications including ISO/IEC 38500 Lead IT Corporate Governance Manager from PECB in December 2022, ISO/IEC 27701 Privacy Information Management System Lead Auditor from PECB in February 2022, Certified Data Protection Officer from EXIN in August 2021, Privacy and Data Protection Practitioner from EXIN in August 2021, and CQI and IRCA Certified ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Lead Auditor from IRCA | International Register of Certificated Auditors in April 2020.
