Ernesto Kabashima

Ernesto Kabashima has extensive work experience in risk management and operations. Ernesto is currently the Head of Risk at Mauá Capital and has held previous roles such as Head of Operations and Partner at the same company. Prior to that, they were the Head of Risk at Jive Investments. Ernesto also has experience as an Associate at RB Capital, Risk and Compliance Director at Centuria Investimentos, Risk Manager at VentureStar Capital Management and Skipper Investimentos, Fund Manager at Quorum Participações, and Risk Analyst at SPM Participações. Ernesto began their career as a Market Risk Analyst at Itaú BBA.

Ernesto Kabashima holds a Master's degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, which they obtained from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, from 1996 to 2000. In addition to their academic qualifications, Ernesto Kabashima has obtained certifications as an Administrador de Carteira de Valores Mobiliários and Consultor de Valores Mobiliários from CVM in 2009 and 2007, respectively.
